(“Interval,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is to inform you of our privacy practices relating to the information we obtain through websites that we own or control (collectively, the "Sites" or individually, a “Site”), your communications with us (including your interactions with our call centers), our communications with you, our mobile application, and our agreements with developers, owner associations, or brokers in connection with your purchase or ownership of a vacation ownership interest.





Collection of information

Except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, Interval is the entity that collects your personal information, including on our Sites. Personal information is defined as any information that identifies or could be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains.

Although the type of personal information we collect will depend on your interaction or relationship with Interval, personal information we typically collect and store when you register and create a profile on a Site, includes your name, postal address, telephone number(s), and email address. We may also store your credit card information if you elect to save such information in connection with a transaction or in your profile.

As a visitor to the website, you can engage in limited activities without providing any personal information. In connection with other activities, such as registering on the Site, performing an exchange, purchasing a Getaway, or booking travel, we may ask you to provide certain information about yourself, such as your first and last name, mailing address, member number, email address, telephone and facsimile numbers and if you transact business with Interval, financial information such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information). We may collect your date of birth to book cruise or air travel and for marketing purposes. When booking a cruise or air travel, you may be asked to provide your date of birth, however, this information is passed directly to the travel provider and is not retained by Interval. For regulatory compliance purposes, we may also ask that you provide your date of birth and/or passport information. Depending upon the activity, some of the information that we ask you to provide is identified as required and some as voluntary. If you do not provide the required data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.

We may use third parties to provide, confirm, or supplement for us other information that is publicly or commercially available based on the information you provide to us or we collect from you. We will use this information for market analysis and our direct marketing.

Interval also may collect and store personal information about other people that you provide to us. For example, if you use the Site to make cruise or other travel reservations, we will collect from you, the personal information of each such travel companion, such as name, address, email address, telephone number and date of birth. This information is passed directly to the travel provider and is not retained by Interval.

If you purchase a Guest Certificate for a friend or family member, Interval will collect from you and store in our system the name, address, telephone number and email address for the recipient of the Guest Certificate. By providing travel companion and Guest Certificate information, you represent that you are authorized to provide all such information to Interval for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

We may monitor and record telephone calls, through which we may capture your personal information, for quality assurance, training, compliance, and security purposes. You will be notified whether the call is being recorded at the start of the call, and we will obtain your consent where required by law to record the call.

When you submit personal information to Interval, you understand and agree that this information may be transferred across national boundaries and may be stored and processed in any of the countries in which Interval operates, including, without limitation, the United States. You also acknowledge that in certain countries or with respect to certain activities, the collection, transfer, storage, and processing of your information may be undertaken by third-party vendors of Interval. Such vendors are bound by contract not to use your personal information for their own purposes or to provide it to others for the purpose of marketing to you.

Interval also has established relationships with various benefit providers, including providers whose services are available to you from our Sites or from sites that are linked to our Sites. Typically, these providers offer benefits or services that Interval customers might find useful, such as those that can be used in conjunction with Interval products. In order to use those benefits or services, you may be required to provide personal information to such providers. Unless expressly stated to the contrary, personal information that you provide while you are visiting a provider's website will be subject to the privacy policy posted on such website, and personal information that you provide while on our Site in conjunction with a provider's service will be subject to this Privacy Policy. You should be aware that our agreements with these providers often provide that they will share with Interval the personal information that such provider collected from you. In such instances, Interval may use the information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy. In the situation where a website has an Interval "look and feel", such as when booking a cruise, and you reasonably believe you are on an Interval Site, the website is collecting information in a solely intermediary capacity and does not use personal information for secondary purposes.

Our Site is not directed to or intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or maintain personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If we are notified or discover that an individual under the age of 16 has submitted personal information to us, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.


Our Mobile Application

This section of the Privacy Policy describes our practices related to the use, storage and disclosure of information we collect from or about you in the course of providing services through our Mobile App (the “App”). The privacy policy link within the App will point your device to our most current Privacy Policy, so please check regularly for the most recent version of our Privacy Policy.

After download, the App solicits information from you. To use the App, you must sign in to your account using your Interval Login ID and password. You will be asked by the App whether you want to use your current location associated with your device. You may elect not to allow your current location to be used.

We collect and use information about you and your device, including device ID, through this App, as well as other information obtained from our Site, to maintain and provide you with services, to respond to your questions and instructions, to maintain the integrity of our network and address security issues, to investigate or take action regarding violations or suspected violations of law or our terms and conditions, and to improve our services.

You may opt-out of information collection by uninstalling the App. You may use the standard uninstall application and data management process available as part of your mobile device or via the removal features provided in your chosen mobile app store or network. Once the App is uninstalled, information provided which is related to your account (including but not limited to, purchase of Getaways, Guest Certificates, designating favorites or making an exchange request) will be stored in our server so that we may provide you with your requested services.

Except as stated in this section entitled Our Mobile Application, the terms of this Privacy Policy are applicable to the App.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may collect certain information from cookies, pixel tags, web beacons or similar technologies for web analytics and direct marketing. We may place such cookies and similar technologies, including those from third parties, on our sites and through other digital channels we use to interact with you, such as email.

Use of cookies. In order to improve our Sites, we use "cookies" to track your visit. A cookie is a small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. It functions as your identification card, and enables Interval to record your travel and site preferences.

While Interval uses cookies to track your visit to our Sites, and our web servers automatically log the IP/Internet address and operating system of your computer, we use this information for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future visits for you, direct marketing, web analytics, improving our products and services, and communicating with you. In essence, we strive to ‘customize’ the look and feel of our Sites to cater to your specific needs. We may collect information such as country of residence, member number, resort code and other information that are exclusive to each individual so that we may provide you with a better experience while you are visiting our Site.

In addition, we may use Google Marketing Platform, Google Ad Manager, and Google Display Network for marketing and remarketing purposes and may allow third-parties, including our service providers, advertising companies, and ad networks, to display advertisements on our Sites. How your personal information is used

Interval collects your information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select. Interval may use information that we collect about you to deliver the products and services that you have requested, manage your membership and provide you with customer support, develop and display content and advertising tailored to your interests on our Sites and on third party websites, provide you with information about products and services we believe may be of interest to you, enforce our terms and conditions, and manage our business. Additionally, if you enter a contest, information is collected to qualify the entry and contact you regarding the contest or prize awards. Your personal information is also used to keep you informed about product upgrades, special offers, and other products and services of Interval and select third parties.

From time to time, we may send you notices of special offers, and other promotional communications on behalf of a third party. For example, we may send you an offer from a rental car agency that includes special fares for a particular time frame. Additionally, we may provide your contact information to a service provider for the purpose of providing you with certain marketing promotions which extend Interval benefits and services. Interval does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. We may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your personal information is not transferred to the third party.

Interval may collect information about the use of the Sites, such as the types of services used and how many users we receive daily. We may use all or part of any information that you provide on our Sites to personalize your experience the next time you visit us. This will make better use of your time and should make your visit to our Site much more productive.

We may use financial information or payment method to process or collect payment for any purchases made on our Sites and to protect against or identify possible fraudulent transactions.

With whom we share your information and your choices with respect to personal information

Interval recognizes and appreciates the importance of responsible use of your personal information. We may share your personal information with:

• Service providers: Interval may share your personal information with our service providers that perform services on our behalf. These services may include fulfilling orders or reservations, processing credit card payments, mail house services, delivering packages, and supporting contests, sweepstakes, surveys, marketing, products or benefits offered as part of your Interval membership or through our Sites. These service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share, sell, or use such information for any other purposes.

• Accommodation providers. When you book an accommodation, it is necessary for us to provide your personal information and booking information to these accommodation providers in order to fulfill and complete your booking. Sharing this information, such as the email address or other contact information you provide, with such providers also allows them to contact you directly about your stay.

There are other instances in which Interval may share your personal information. Upon request, we may provide certain information from our membership records to your home resort(s). Such information may include, but may not be limited to, your first and last name, mailing address, telephone number and email address. If Interval sells assets (or the assets of a division or subsidiary) to another entity, or Interval (or a division or subsidiary) is acquired by, or merged with, another entity, Interval may provide to such entity customer information that is related to that part of our business that was sold to or merged with the other entity without your consent. Interval may provide your personal information if necessary, in Interval's good faith judgment, to comply with laws or regulations of a governmental or regulatory body or in response to a valid subpoena, warrant, or order or to protect the rights of Interval or others.

We also may share aggregated and non-personal information we collect under any of the above circumstances. It may be shared with service providers to develop and deliver targeted advertising, including on our Sites, our App, and third-party sites. We may combine non-personal information we collect with additional non-personal information collected from other sources. We also may share aggregated information with third parties, including advisors, advertisers and investors, for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. For example, we may tell our advertisers the number of visitors to our Sites and the most popular features or services accessed. This information does not contain any personal information and may be used to develop content and services that we hope you and other users will find of interest and to target content and advertising.

Social media sites

Through our Sites, you can choose to access certain third party social media websites, such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. When you do so, you are sharing information with those websites, and the information you share will be governed by their privacy policies. We may collect and use the information, videos and photos that you post publicly on third party social media sites.

User-submitted content (blogs, bulletin boards, reviews chat rooms, etc.)

We may provide areas on our Sites where you can post information about yourself and communicate with others, as well as post reviews of resorts, travel destinations, restaurants, and the like, or upload content (e.g. pictures, videos, audio files, etc). Such postings are governed by our Interval Community Terms of Use which are accessible after you login to In addition, such postings may appear when searches are conducted on the subject of your posting. Also, whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information on publicly-viewable web page, such as an Interval Community page, that information will be publicly available and can be collected and used by others. For example, if you post your email address on an Interval Community page, that information may be used by others to contact you. As it relates to publicly-viewable web pages, we cannot control who reads your posting or what other users may do with the information you voluntarily post, so we encourage you to exercise discretion and caution with respect to your personal information. Once you have posted information, you will not be able to edit or delete such information.

Protection of your personal information

The personal information you provide to us is subject to our organizational, physical, and technical security measures, procedures, and policies. The personal information that you provide in connection with your Interval membership is classified as Profile Information. Access by you to your Profile Information is available through a password and unique Login ID selected by you. Your password and profile information are encrypted while in transit. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. Your Profile Information resides on a secure server and Interval utilizes security architecture and technologies, such as multi-layer firewalls and network-based intrusion detection monitors, to protect your personal information.

When you submit credit card information to Interval, it is transferred using secure transmission protocols. This ensures that your information is encrypted as it travels over the Internet. This secure mode is enabled before any such information is transmitted from your computer. You will know you are in secure mode when the padlock or key icon in the left-hand corner of the computer screen appears in the locked position. In addition, when accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https." There is no guarantee, however, that the transmission, Internet, or storage system is fully secure. Please immediately notify us using the contact methods stated below if you have reason to believe that your interaction with us has been compromised.

Updating your personal information and privacy preferences

In any commercial e-mail that we send to you, you will be given an opportunity to opt out of receiving such messages in the future. It may take up to 10 days for us to process an opt-out request. Interval may send you other types of transactional and relationship e-mail communications, such as exchange or Getaway confirmations, and administrative notices, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

Privacy-related inquiries and complaints

Interval takes its users' privacy concerns seriously. If you believe that Interval has not complied with this Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information or you have other related inquiries or concerns, you may contact Interval Customer Service as indicated above.

In your message, please describe in as much detail as possible the nature of your inquiry or the ways in which you believe that this Privacy Policy has not been complied with. We will investigate your inquiry or complaint promptly.

Changes in Privacy Policy

Interval reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time at its sole discretion, and if required by applicable law, will provide notice of material changes on the home page of our Site. When we post changes to this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If as the result of such changes, you want to alter the ways in which Interval is allowed to use your personal information, you can do so by following the procedure described above in the section titled "Updating your personal information and privacy preferences."
